  • Akshat

    75.00150.00

Akshatā has the ability to attract the frequencies of the five Deities in the Universe (Ganapati, Shri Durgadevi, Shiva, Shri Ram and Shri Krushna), to activate them, make them functional and to transmit them with the help of the Absolute Earth and Absolute Water elements. Hence, akshatā is sprinkled on every component of the ritualistic worship, so also on the Idol of Deity after the panchopachār or Shodashopachār pūjā and after activating the divinity in all of them, they are invoked to become functional. In the absence of any substance in a panchopchar pūjā, akshatā is used as a substitute. Akshatā is a medium that encompasses all the Deity Principles and hence is an important all-encompassing medium in ritualistic worship. Because of the energy in the Deity, when akshatā is offered to them, benevolent energy and vibrations develops in the akshatā. If a string of a sitar, among a pair of similar frequency sitars, is sounded then the same sound is emitted from the other sitars too.

    DIWALI PUJA SAMAGRI

    1,299.00 1,899.00

Diwali, Deepavali or Dipavali is the Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn in the northern hemisphere. One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.” Light is a metaphor for knowledge and consciousness. During the celebration, temples, homes, shops and office buildings are brightly illuminated. The preparations, and rituals, for the festival typically last five days, with the climax occurring on the third day coinciding with the darkest night of the Hindu lunisolar month Kartika.

During the climax, illuminate the interior and exterior of their homes with diyas (oil lamps or candles), offer puja (worship) to Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and wealth, light fireworks, and partake in family feasts, where mithai (sweets) and gifts are shared. Diwali is also a major cultural event for the Hindu and Jain diaspora from the Indian subcontinent.

Hence, if a person is affected by negative energies, a coconut is used to perform the ritual of removing ‘drishta’ (evil-eye) to relieve his distress. The sound when breaking a coconut is akin to the destroyer mantra ‘Aum phat’. Because of the sound, the negative energies run away.

Goverdhan Puja as it is also known, is a Hindu festival in which devotees prepare and offer a large variety of vegetarian food to Bhagwan (God) Shri Krishna as a mark of gratitude. For Vaishnavas, this day commemorates the incident in the Bhagavata Puran when Bhagwan Shri Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill to provide the villagers of Vrindavan shelter from torrential rains. The incident is seen to represent how God will protect all devotees who take singular refuge in him. Devotees offer a mountain of food, metaphorically representing the Govardhan Hill, to God as a ritual remembrance and to renew their faith in taking refuge in God. The festival is observed by most of Hindu denominations all over India and abroad. For Vaishnavas this is one of the important festivals. For the Vallabh Sampradaya (Pushtimarg), the Gaudiya Sampradaya of Chaitanya, and the Swaminarayan Sampradaya etc among others. HINDU MARRIAGE PUJA SAMAGRI

    3,899.00 4,999.00

A Hindu wedding is Vivaha (Sanskrit: विवाह[1]) and the wedding ceremony is called Vivaah Sanskar in North India and Kalyanam (generally) in South India.[2][3] Hindus attach a great deal of importance to marriage. The wedding ceremonies are very colourful, and celebrations may extend for several days.

The rituals and process in a Hindu wedding vary widely. Nevertheless, the Hindu wedding ceremony at its core is essentially a Vedic yajna ritual and three key rituals are almost universal: Kanyadaan, Panigrahana, and Saptapadi—which are respectively, giving away of his daughter by the father, voluntarily holding hands near the fire to signify union, and taking seven ‘steps before fire’.

At each step promises are made by each to the other. The primary witness of a Hindu marriage is the fire-deity or Agni, in the presence of family and friends. The ceremony is traditionally conducted entirely or at least partially in Sanskrit, considered by Hindus as the language of holy ceremonies. The local language of the bride and groom may also be used. The rituals are prescribed in the Gruhya sutra composed by various rishis such as Baudhayana and Ashvalayana.
